Richard has served as the preacher since 1986 (Webster Street). Needmore Road since January 2020
Richard has preached the gospel in many states and several foreign countries, including Jamaica, the Republic of South Africa and the Czech Republic.
Richard lectures regularly on religious topics, and has written many chapters for religious commentaries (Annual Denton Lectures, Shenandoah Lectures and others). He has authored two tracts — Who Is Accountable to God and A Christian Response to Racism.
Brother Melson has been an adjunct instructor with the Midwestern School of Preaching, teaching classes in Hermeneutics, Introduction to New Testament Greek, Apologetics and Christian Evidences along with textual studies. He is a certified Deep Listening Skills Instructor and FEMA Certified Trainer for Multi-Hazard Emergency Planning for Schools.
